More on the bracelet and yes, I am still alive!

I don't know where I've been lately, but it hasn't been posting on my blog! Well I do know where I've been, I'm not quite that lost -- Stuff to do, places to go, people to see. I've been somewhat immersed in a de-cluttering mission in the house which will take ages, but will be well worth it.

Speaking of people to see, next week I'm taking a 6 hour drive to go meet my good friend Swati Nigam who I've met online though various jewelry forums. Check out a few posts ago and you'll see a link to her and her wonderful work. Yay! We get to meet for the first time in person, and hang out for a whole week, making jewelry and taking a PMC class together (a first for both of us). I am very excited and once again in awe of this online world.

Now, back to the bracelet. I've added tiny faceted tanzanite beads to the beautiful blue chalcedony and oxidized it a bit to give it some depth, though I don't think these photos show the darkening. It is woven wire for about 2/3rd of it and triple layer chain with a clasp in the back, which you can kind of see in the upper photo. There are a couple of neat details that I didn't get a good photo of, but once I find it during my de-cluttering mission (now you see why I must get to work!), I'll take a couple more close-ups.

Ooooh!! Nice!! I finally get to see it!! :-)) Its LOVELY. And the beads are amazing...awesome colors. And I see there is a "next one" in the link within. Will go there now.

Jennifer just replied about the PMC class. Friday is fine with her. And for the second session, she says Tuesday the 21st will be good. That's ok with you too, right? She asked if we have any experience with PMC. I have none. Do you have any? I've given her your blog url...to ask her if she already knows you...this online world is pretty small. lol! Hi Jennifer if you are here!! :-))
